1. Essential cookies and local storage

Set always, because the service cannot function without them. No consent is required.

• codaudit_consent — records your cookie choice. Local storage, 12 months.
• codaudit_session — keeps you signed in and secures form submissions against cross-site request forgery. Session cookie.

2. Analytics — cookieless

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and understand which sections merchants read before requesting an audit. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores no identifier in your browser, and does not track individuals across sites. Aggregate analytics data is retained for 6 months.

We do not set advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell behavioural data.

3. Your choice

• Because we set no non-essential cookies, choosing “Reject” in the banner changes nothing about what is stored — it simply records your preference so the banner stops appearing.
• Change your mind later: clear this site’s local storage and reload, and the banner will reappear.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser’s private window. Blocking essential cookies may break sign-in and file upload.
